Installation
In Claude Code, add the santiago-vargas-de-kruijf/claude-overkill marketplace and install overkill@overkill-marketplace. Alternatively copy plugins/overkill/skills/overkill into a personal or project .claude/skills/ directory.
How to Use
With a concrete problem and baseline in context, invoke overkill, overkill --max, --advanced, or --current. With no flag it first asks for modes, then returns 3–6 category-diverse options with complexity, learning payoff, primary references, and the scale at which each earns its cost.
Requirements
The documented install targets Claude Code. This is not a default architecture recommender and should not trigger for a simple solution or MVP; maximal options are for exploration and due diligence. Default mode is offline. --current uses web search and sends queries to the selected search service, so exclude private code and sensitive context.
